About RoundUp.org

We believe nonprofits are more impactful when they can focus on doing good instead of chasing donations. Predictable revenue from recurring donations is key. Recurring donations are worth twice as much, yet only 3% of donations today are recurring.

For nonprofits, setting up recurring donations often involves costly software, training, and management—barriers many small and medium nonprofits can’t overcome. For donors, recurring giving can feel like too much commitment.

The RoundUp Solution

We saw an opportunity to change this. RoundUp makes recurring donations easy by using a behavior 89% of consumers already know: rounding up purchases and donating the spare change.

  • Over $1 billion is donated annually this way, but most donors wish they could choose the nonprofit receiving their support.
  • In fact, less than 10% of consumers say they round up every time they are asked, but over 30% say they would round up every time if they could pick the nonprofit.

RoundUp empowers donors to choose the nonprofit they care about most—whether it’s fighting hunger, protecting the environment, or supporting local organizations like schools, shelters, or churches.

Setup takes less than a minute: donors link their credit card to their chosen nonprofit, and purchases are rounded up to the next dollar. Monthly, a single charge is made for the spare change. Donors can even set a maximum monthly donation limit.

For Nonprofits

RoundUp requires no extra budget, staff, or software. Each nonprofit already has a page on RoundUp.org where donors can link their cards and start giving. Donations (minus fees) are processed through Our Change Foundation, which distributes them to nonprofits. Nonprofits can easily claim their donations for free simply by registering.

We also provide free marketing tools—like shareable links, QR codes, and social media posts—so nonprofits can start promoting their RoundUp page through existing channels without extra effort.
